Tournament of Kings - Sunday February 20th 2011

Our hotel room was way cool, I thought I had pictures of it, but I can't find them now I do have a picture of the shower. Not only did it have the typical overhead rain of water, but also controllable side jets. I'm thinking we need these in the next house we build.

We had a leisurely Sunday so we spend the day at Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden. We saw the dolphins and have determined to come back and be dolphin trainers for a day.

It is the year of the rabbit...and they had a large rabbit on the walk between the Venetian and the Palazzo. Eric though it was a big creepy, moving (anamatronic) bunny.

It was getting close to time for the Tournament of Kings and we were pretty sure that Eric wouldn't like the medieval dinner. So we stopped in at i <heart> burgers. We all ordered hamburgers and each ordered appetizers so we could sample them all. By the time the burgers came we were too full to eat, and couldn't take them back to our hotel so we ended up spending $100.00 on burgers we didn't eat...

We finally made it to the Tournament of Kings and ate our dinner with our hands (as they would have back then). We were entertained with live jousting and king type combat.

On the drive home we viewed the Bellagio fountains at night.
